What to bring
• An umbrella or raincoat
• A flashlight (plus spare batteries)
• If you are camping, your tent/bug net should be no-see-um proof, .5mm or less (normal mosquito nets are 1mm)
• Comfy clothes made of breathable fabrics like cotton
• A pair of trousers and a long sleeved top for the evenings (gnats like to bite ankles and wrists so keep those covered during mornings and evenings and you will be fine.)
• Towel (for shower)
• Toiletries/hygiene products – these should be natural so as not to disturb the environment. We will provide toilet paper.
• Swimwear
• A comfy pair of everyday shoes
• A natural bug repellent if bugs tend to like you
• Earplugs if you are a light sleeper (the rainforest can be loud)
• A yoga mat for morning yoga classes
• A camera to capture the memories you will be making
• A notebook and pen
• A watch or cellphone
• A reusable water bottle
• A small rucksack for hiking
